Community Lunch
Our church has designed its service schedule to accommodate the needs of our members. We have a traditional worship service at 11 a.m. but we have chosen to meet at 1 p.m. instead of the traditional 6 p.m. evening service on Sunday evening. This benefits those that have transportation issues and our members that live some distance from the church.
In order to supply physical nourishment along with spiritual nourishment, we have incorporated a community lunch after the morning worship service for our church family and for any visitors that might wish to join us. The meal consists of each family bringing a covered dish to feed not only their family but two other individuals. We then serve the food buffet style. This mealtime allows us to enjoy more of a family atmosphere and gives us additional time to get acquainted and discuss biblical issues.
