Coffee Shop Bible Discussion Group
Every Thursday evening at 6:30 PM, members of SHC and friends of our members gather at JP’s coffee shop in downtown Holland. This is an informal gathering, open to anyone that might want to join, to discuss faith-related topics. In the summer time, we gather around tables on the sidewalk. Sometimes this can be a challenge due to street performers. Nevertheless, people are often curious about our meeting and will stand close to the group to listen to what is being discussed.
In the winter months, we gather around tables inside the building where a lot of college students with their lap-tops also meet. Occasionally, someone will join our group because of their interest in the topic being discussed.
This may not be a traditional way of sharing God’s word but “if anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” (Mark 4:23)
