Wednesday Evening Services
The faithful members of Spurgeon Heritage Church meet together at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening for fellowship, Bible study and prayer. Our pastor often teaches through a book of the Bible, but Wednesday nights are also a time in which the pastor may also teach more topical lessons on practical, contemporary issues. The sessions are much more informal than those on Sunday and are often discussion-based.
In a day when many churches and denominations are abandoning the traditional Wednesday night meeting, our church family still desires to gather together for this mid-week service; edifying and strengthening one another in the faith.
Before we end our Wednesday service, we gather together for a time of corporate prayer. “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16
